What does a public adjuster cost?

There are no upfront fees. A public adjuster is typically paid a percentage of the settlement recovered on your claim, so the fee comes out of the recovery — and the adjuster only benefits when you do.

Do I really need one?

Not always. On a small, straightforward claim that the carrier scopes fairly, you may not. A public adjuster earns their keep on significant or complex losses, and on claims that have been underpaid or denied. A free claim review will tell you honestly which situation you’re in.

When should I call — before or after I file?

Ideally before, or as early as possible. How a claim is opened and documented shapes the entire outcome, and the best time to get the loss recorded correctly is before anything is repaired or dried out. That said, it’s rarely too late — underpaid, denied, and closed claims can often still be pursued.

Can you help if my claim was already denied or paid?

Often, yes. A denial can be challenged, and a settled claim can sometimes be supplemented if the damage was larger than it first appeared or the repair cost exceeded the payout. Bring us the file and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

Do you work with the insurance company’s adjuster?

Yes — we deal directly with the carrier and their adjuster and experts, so you don’t have to. The difference is that we represent you, not the insurer.

What areas do you serve?

We serve homeowners and businesses across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

How do I get started?

Request a free claim review. We’ll review your policy and the damage at no cost and tell you honestly where you stand and whether we can help.
