Closed doesn’t always mean finished

It’s common to discover, after a claim settles, that the loss was bigger than it first appeared — hidden damage that surfaced during repairs, a contractor’s real estimate that exceeded the insurer’s, or additional related damage that wasn’t in the original scope. A supplemental claim reopens the file to recover those covered costs.

What we do on a supplemental claim

We document the additional or newly discovered damage and tie it to the original covered loss, then present the supplement with the estimates and evidence to support it. We handle the carrier’s pushback — the “this should have been in the original claim” or “this is unrelated” arguments — and pursue the additional recovery you’re owed.

Bring us the file

If repairs are running past your settlement, or new damage has appeared, a free review will tell you whether a supplemental claim is worth pursuing. Keep your estimates and documentation — they’re the foundation.
